Day 1- Mabuhay Manila ( CKG-MNL )

This is the day. The day that we waited for song long. Full with excitement yet worried because me and my partner, Mutia are going to the Philippines for doing Pre Service Teacher / Teaching Practice at Neuva Ecija University of Science and technology Cabanatuan city. We are as a representative from Kalimantan Islamic University. We are joining the Students Exchange program from SEAMEO. The program started from the 7th of January until the 15th of February 2019. For 4 weeks, we are going to stay with local people, learn their language, exchange culture and of course, new friends.
Saturday, at 10 AM, our university held a farewell party in the Rector Meeting room. It supposed to be at 9.30 AM but we had to wait for some representatives from other faculties to came. After 2 hours, we were done with the farewell, At 4 pm, both of us depart to Jakarta by using Lion Air JT through Syamsudin Noor International Airport. Arrived at Soekarno Hatta International airport at 6 pm, and the next flight to NAIA Airport in Manila at 00.45 am. After waiting for several hours, we board to Manila with the Cebu Pacific airplane. During the flight, I tried to sleep but I can't. There is turbulence along the way to Phillipines. Finally, after 5 hours, we landed at NAIA at 5 AM and rushed to the immigration counter.
Waited for almost 2 hours, we passed the immigration. Outside, our Coordinator teacher, Mr. Marlon welcomed us and asked to have some breakfast meanwhile waiting for other friends from another city. At 1 PM, we meet up with all of my friends who have landed. We directly go to Nueva Ecija. Finally, after 6 hours we arrived at our receiving university. The Dean of the College of Education, Ma'am Angelina Cortez, Supervisor of HRM (Hotel and Restaurant Management) Mr. Kelvin, Phillipino Language Teacher, Mr.Christopher and his wife from HRM and OJT Staff were there to welcome us. We were having dinner together and end up with learning a new language, Tagalong.
