Day 8 - 9 - Visit Oval Field and Flag Ceremony and First Class to teach

Day 8 - Sunday, January 20, 2019
Today Mr. Chris and his family came to our hostel at the Sumacab campus. They brought us food and cookies for our lunch. After had lunch, he taught us how to sing "Pilipinas Kong Mahal", so we can sing at the flag ceremony.

In the afternoon, we went to the Oval Stadium inside the campus. We spend almost 3 hours in the oval. at 7 pm, we back to the hostel and cooked Tinda for our dinner with Mr. Percy. It a traditional food of the Philippines. We end up our Sunday with dinner together.

Day 9 - Monday January, 21 2019

Magandang Umaga. In the Philippines, every Monday they had a flag ceremony that we should attend. It starts at 7 am. Since today it's Monday, we had to join the flag ceremony before going to General Tinio Campus. After the flag ceremony, we went to school. I did my observation to Archimedes classroom. Today I had 4 classes to attend.

And today is the first day I start teaching STEM 11 ( engineering students). They in  grade 11 and I teach for the Reading and Writing Skills subject.  They were very active in the classroom. The picture on below, that was a discussion time about reading skills and at the end of the discussion, i gave them an activity to make comic strips.
